Reservation Policy

General Reservation Information

Guests must be at least 18 years old to reserve a room. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult over 18 to stay in the hotel.

Early Check In Fee: Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. If you wish to check-in early, an additional fee per person of $25 will charge for checking-in at 10:00 a.m. and $40 for checking-in at 08:00 a.m. Early check-In subjected to availability.

Your reservation will be charged in Costa Rican colones, using the exchange rate of the Central Bank of Costa Rica.

Child Policy

When traveling with children, a daily additional fee will apply to the total amount on the hotel confirmation. This fee must be paid upon check-in. The fee is $47.00 USD for each child 4-11 years and full adult rate for those 12 and over. Children up to 3 years old sharing a room will not be charged for their stay.


Deposit Policy:


To ensure the reservation, the first night payment will be charged as follows:

Super High Season: 14 days prior to check-in.
(Holy Week: March 29 to April 5, 2026, and December 22, 2026 to January 1, 2027)
High Season: 7 days prior to check-in.
(January 2 to March 28, 2026; June 30 to July 13, 2026; and December 15 to December 21, 2026)
Low Season (Weekdays): 3 days prior to check-in.
(April 6 to June 29, 2026, and July 14 to December 14, 2026)
Low Season (Weekends): 7 days prior to check-in.
(April 6 to June 29, 2026, and July 14 to December 14, 2026)
Special policies apply to group bookings, special rates, and non-refundable rates.
Only the cardholder may check in at the hotel and must present the credit or debit card used, along with a valid photo ID.

 

Cancellation Policy:

To avoid a penalty of one night charge, cancel by 2:00 pm local hotel time at least 14 days prior to arrival during super high season and at least 7 days prior to arrival during high and low seasons.

 

Promotion Rules "Gataway to the Pacific: Photo + Day Pass for 2"

1) Organizer
This promotion is organized by Best Western Jacó Beach All Inclusive Resort (hereinafter, “the Organizer”), operating in Jacó, Puntarenas, Costa Rica.

2) Validity
The promotion will be valid from December 28, 2025, through Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (Costa Rica time).
The winner will be announced on Monday, February 2, 2026.

3) Participation Requirements
Participants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be 18 years of age or older. (If a minor participates, they must do so with the express authorization of their legal representative; the Organizer may request proof).

  • Reside in Costa Rica.

  • Have a public Instagram or Facebook profile during the participation period and until the winner is announced.

  • Comply with the mechanics described in these rules.

4) Participation Mechanics
To participate, the person must:

  • Take a photo at the “Gateway to the Pacific” spot located within the hotel facilities (Jacó).

  • Upload the photo to Instagram or Facebook (post or reel). (Stories are not mandatory and may not be visible for validation, therefore posts/reels are recommended).

  • Tag the hotel’s official account: [@bestwesternjacobeach] (or the official account designated by the Organizer).

  • Include the hashtag #portalalpacificodejacobeach.

Important:

  • If the profile is private, the Organizer may not be able to see the post and the participation cannot be validated.

  • The post must remain visible until the winner announcement.

  • Only one (1) entry per person is allowed. If multiple posts are made, the Organizer may consider only the first one.

5) Prize
One (1) prize will be awarded:

  • One Day Pass for 2 people to enjoy the hotel facilities, including (according to the Organizer’s current operation): breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages, as well as use of showers, pool towels, lockers, and changing rooms, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The prize:

  • Is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods/services.

  • Does not include transportation, personal expenses, or any other additional consumption not expressly described.

6) Conditions for Using the Prize (Very Important)

  • The prize may only be used with prior reservation and is subject to availability based on the hotel’s daily capacity and operation.

  • The Organizer will coordinate the date with the winner.

  • The Organizer may establish blackout dates, including but not limited to holidays, high-demand weekends, peak seasons, or other dates due to capacity or operational reasons.

  • The Organizer may request an identification document at the time of redemption.

  • If the winner does not respond or confirm the required information to coordinate within 48 hours after the announcement (or within the period defined by the Organizer), the Organizer may reassign the prize to another participant.

7) Selection and Announcement of the Winner

  • The winner will be selected through a random draw among all valid entries received during the promotion period.

  • The winner will be announced on Monday, February 2, 2026, via the Organizer’s Instagram Stories and/or post.

  • The Organizer may also contact the winner via direct message (DM).

⚠️ Important: The Organizer will never request banking information or any payment to deliver the prize.

8) Validation of Entries
The Organizer will verify that:

  • The photo corresponds to the “Gateway to the Pacific” spot.

  • The post includes the correct hashtag and tag.

  • The account remained public until the winner announcement.

  • There is no violation of these rules.

9) Disqualification
The Organizer may disqualify participants who:

  • Fail to comply with the mechanics or deadlines.

  • Use content that is not their own or infringes third-party rights.

  • Publish offensive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent content, or content that damages the Organizer’s image.

  • Attempt to manipulate the draw or commit fraud.

  • Are employees of the Organizer, direct suppliers involved in the execution of the promotion, or first-degree relatives (if the Organizer decides to apply this restriction).

10) Image Rights and Content Use
By participating, the participant authorizes the Organizer to repost and/or use the published image for promotional purposes of the hotel on the Organizer’s social media and digital channels, without additional compensation, giving credit when possible (e.g., by mentioning the user).

The participant guarantees that:

  • They hold the rights to the published image, and

  • They have authorization from any third parties appearing in the photo.

11) Liability
The Organizer is not responsible for technical failures of Instagram, connectivity issues, platforms, invisible tags, or posts that cannot be verified due to privacy settings.

This promotion is not sponsored, administered, or associated with Instagram/Meta. Instagram is released from all responsibility.

12) Data Protection
The information requested from the winner (name, ID, phone/email for coordination) will be used exclusively to manage prize delivery and reservation coordination.

13) Modifications and Cancellation
The Organizer may modify these rules or cancel the promotion for justified reasons (force majeure, operational restrictions, capacity limits, safety concerns, etc.). Any changes will be communicated through the Organizer’s official channels.

14) Acceptance
Participation in the promotion implies full acceptance of these rules and conditions.
